Check-in time is 4:00pm.

Check-out time is 11:00am.

Early Check-ins and Late Check-outs:

When availability allows, you may check in up to 2 hours early or check-out up to 2 hours late. This extension to your stay is an additional fee.

*please note that early check-in and late check-outs are NOT available for Rent-a-Resort events

All of July, August, all weekends in September & some holidays

Summer Season

June 1st - June 30th and September weekdays (excluding dates listed under peak season)

Quiet Season

October 1st- May 31st

Holidays include

Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, and Presidents Day (Special Holiday Rates apply)

Memorial Day Weekend, Labor Day Weekend (Special Holiday Rates apply)


Reservation, Cancellation

Reservation Policy

During the Peak Season / Summer Season there is a three-night minimum requirement in the cabins and four-night minimum requirement in houses.

During the Quiet Season there is a two-night minimum requirement in the cabins and a three-night minimum in the houses (holiday rates and minimums may apply)

~ A deposit equal to the cost of the first night, plus taxes and fees, is required at the time of booking for all reservations.

~ The balance due will be collected at the the time that follows the cancellation policy: 30 days prior to arrival during Quiet Season / 90 days prior to arrival during Summer and Peak Seasons.

~ Reservations made less than 30 days prior to the arrival date will be charged in full at the time of booking.

~ Reservations may be be made 11 months in advance for all of our accommodations.

~ Visa, MasterCard and American Express accepted.

EVENT/Group Fees

10% Service Fee is added to all events and groups of 20 people or more. This is a gratuity that goes to our staff.

Cancellations

During Peak/Summer/Holidays - Cancellations received more than 90 days prior to arrival will receive a refund of payments, minus a $20 handling fee per accommodation (Note: taxes and credit card fees are non-refundable regardless of when cancellation is received). There is No Refund for cancellations received less than 90 days prior to arrival. All cancellation must be received in writing to reservations@guemesislandresort.com

During Quiet Season - Cancellations received more than 30n days prior to arrival will receive a refund of payments, minus a $20 handling fee per accommodation (Note: taxes and credit card fees are non-refundable regardless of when cancellation is received). There is No Refund for cancellations received less than 30 days prior to arrival. All cancellation must be received in writing to reservations@guemesislandresort.com

Note: Unfortunately we are unable to provide any refund, partial refund or credit due to illness, inclement weather, power outages, travel delays or any other circumstances outside of Guemes Island Resort’s control.

DOGS

Dogs are welcome as long as they are social and well behaved. Due to increased maintenance, there is an added charge of $20/night or $100/week, per dog. If your dog has an "accident" indoors, you will be charged for cleaning costs. All accommodations (except Tiny House Almar) are dog-friendly. Dogs are NOT allowed in Tiny House “Almar”. Please note: maximum 2 dogs per cabin or Baker House. Maximum 3 dogs for Guemes House, and Salish House.

Crabbing and Clamming

Crabbing, clamming, and fishing licenses can be purchased at the Anacortes Ace Hardware. Licenses are mandatory and guests caught poaching will be asked to leave. We have some crab pots, shovels and buckets available for guest use (first come first served) but we recommend you bring your own gear. We are happy to guide you through the process if you need it. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.


Things to Keep in Mind During Your Stay

BRING:

  • Clothes for the sauna, hot tub or water

  • Clam digging equipment, crab and/or fishing gear

  • Bikes, games, puzzles, hiking shoes, sunscreen, rain gear and a good book

  • Your dog

  • Rowboats do not have a motor. You are welcome to bring your own motor.

REMEMBER:

  • Shellfish, crab and/or fishing licenses are not available on Guemes. Licenses are available in Anacortes at West Marine or Ace Hardware.

  • Crabbing is open mid July - end of September, Thursday - Monday only (Exact dates/days are subject to change. Please visit the Fish and Wildlife website for up-to-date information.)

  • No fireworks please
